Through an announcement dated 23 February 2024,
the Cyprus Tax Department notified a decree issued by the Council of Ministers
of the Republic of Cyprus providing for the extension of the deadline for the
submission of the Corporation Tax Return for 2022 until 30 November 2024.
The extension is available only for taxpayers with an obligation to submit a Summary Information Table (SIT) in accordance with the provisions of the Income Tax Law in relation to Transfer Pricing obligations. The deadline for the submission of the SIT is also extended until 30 November 2024. It is reminded in the announcement that the penalty for late submission of the SIT is €500.
For any taxpayers that do not have an obligation
to submit a Summary Information Table, the deadline for the submission of the
Corporation Tax Return for 2022 remains on 31 March 2024.
